As an Emergency Medicine physician, Dr. Rajan Popat frequently sees patients in the ER who could have been treated in a well-equipped, fully staffed urgent care center. By opening Precise Urgent Care, he aims to provide patients with access to high-quality, efficient care—without the long wait times and higher costs often associated with emergency rooms.

The most rewarding parts of my day are:

To me, “Precise” care means ensuring that we have:

We keep patients informed at every step of their visit and ensure they always have the opportunity to ask questions at any time—whether before, during, or after their visit. We also provide two ways for patients to share feedback following their visit: by leaving a Google review or by responding to the NPS (Net Promoter Score) survey they receive.

We have partnered with urgent care industry leaders to make each visit as quick and seamless as possible. Many logistical aspects of the visit are automated to improve efficiency, allowing our staff to stay focused on what matters most—providing high-quality patient care.

Communication is key. Before any procedure, Dr. Rajan Popat, MD, explains exactly what the patient can expect. He avoids saying “this won’t hurt” because that’s not always realistic. When patients understand what to expect—including any discomfort—they can ask questions, take part in decision-making, and mentally prepare for the procedure.

Our team comes from a variety of healthcare backgrounds, and we all have families—we’ve also been patients ourselves. We understand that illness can be stressful for both patients and their loved ones. Our goal is to help you feel comfortable and supported while you’re getting better.

At Precise Urgent Care, we commonly treat coughs, colds, fevers, urinary tract infections, rashes, and ankle injuries. Our team is equipped to evaluate these concerns quickly and provide reliable care for patients of all ages.
