Meet Ekta Popat, B.S., MBA, in Livingston and Houston, TX

Ekta Popat holds a Bachelor of Science from Michigan Technological University and an MBA from the University of Michigan. These qualifications have equipped her with a solid foundation in both technical and business management, which she applies to her work in healthcare operations.

Ekta has been involved in healthcare operations for several years. Before co-founding Precise Urgent Care, she worked in healthcare operations for a telemedicine company, helping improve patient access and clinical efficiency.

Ekta specializes in healthcare operations and project management. Her expertise is in streamlining systems, enhancing patient access, and improving clinical efficiency to ensure a seamless patient experience.

In addition to her healthcare operations expertise, Ekta has experience in leadership, business management, and creative problem-solving. She founded and continues to operate a dance school in the Houston area, where she has served as the Artistic Director for over nine years. Her experience in leading teams at Ford Motor Company and running a dance school has further enriched her leadership and team-building skills.

Ekta speaks English, Hindi, and some German, enabling her to connect with individuals from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds, fostering strong relationships with both patients and staff.

Ekta believes that patients deserve a seamless, efficient, and high-quality healthcare experience. Outside of work, Ekta enjoys dance, yoga, cooking, and traveling. These activities help her maintain a healthy work-life balance, stay inspired, and remain grounded both professionally and personally.
